Only wash when necessary, try to spot-clean or air-clean primarily. When it needs a wash, please only hand wash it cold using eco-friendly wool laundry detergent. Dry flat and never wring or hang-dry, as wet wool stretches easily. But most importantly: The less you wash it, the longer it lasts!

    Product Lifecycle

    1. We source the 100% certified organic merino wool yarn from our supplier in Europe, who buys the wool from shepherds in South America.

    2. The yarn is spun in Europe before it is shipped to our dye house in Vienna.

    3. The organic wool yarn is dyed using plant-based natural dyes in a family-run dye house in Vienna. This factory combines traditional craftsmanship with a strong interest in innovation and sustainability.

    4. This garment was knitted in Slovakia, close to the Austrian dye house. Our production team in Austria has been working with them for many years.

    5. We ship our orders in Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Mix certified cardboard boxes, which are cut and printed in Austria. They do contain a plastic tear-off strip, which is a compromise we are willing to make in order to offer easy returns without customers having to use additional plastic tape.

Our products come wrapped in tissue paper, secured with a sticker. Both our stickers and our flyers are manufactured in a climate-neutral facility in Germany using 100% recycled paper.

The hangtags we use are made of 100% FSC certified paper and are manufactured in Austria. Our barcode stickers are currently still made of plastic, but this is the next area we want to tackle!

    6. Our warehouse is located just outside Berlin. All of our orders are shipped using DHL go green, which is a climate-neutral shipping solution. The fulfillment center prides themselves with having a young, 59% female team from 9 different nationalities. The team is encouraged to bike to work and their company fridge is filled with over 90% organic foods.

    8. The most sustainable thing you can do is to wear and rewear your garments many times. When you're ready to pass something on, consider reselling or donating it! Our community is a good place for that!

However, in a circular economy, a product's end-of-life scenario is an important aspect to keep in mind during its creation. Sooner or (hopefully) later this garment's life will come to an end. Here's what you need to know about the recyclability of this garment:

This garment consists of only natural materials - no plastics or synthetics. Therefore, it should be able to be recycled, without having to take it apart. However, we have not tested or certified this.

I'm very happy with the purchase although it's on the pricey side and a little to blue in my opinion

    Neuer Lieblingspullover!
