Raw Fibers
The lyocell fiber used to make our fabric comes from Lenzing, which is an Austrian based company known for its circular business model. They use FSC® and PEFC™ certified wood from sustainable forestry for their production. According to their website, more than half of the wood pulp used to produce the fibers comes from their own plants, located in Lenzing (AUT) and Paskov (CZ). The rest is sourced from international partners. More information here.
TENCEL™ fibers are biodegradable and compostable and can fully revert back to nature. The wood is sustainably produced in a closed-loop process, which means waste and water are reused/recycled to up to 99%.
