The Turtleneck Jumper Black

€220,00

The Turtleneck Jumper has a relaxed fit, extra-long loose-fitting sleeves and dropped shoulders. The jumper is made of a light organic wool knit and has a ribbed turtleneck, waistband and cuffs.

Please note: In this batch, the black color has a slight bluish cast. Our natural dye for the black color tone is extracted from logwood (Blauholz), which usually makes a dark purple or blue. By pre- and post-treatment of the yarn, we can achieve an (in this case bluish) black.

Only wash when necessary, try to spot-clean or air-clean primarily. When it needs a wash, please only hand wash it cold using eco-friendly wool laundry detergent. Dry flat and never wring or hang-dry, as wet wool stretches easily. But most importantly: The less you wash it, the longer it lasts!

This piece has a relaxed fit, extra-long sleeves and dropped shoulders, which makes it comfortable and flattering at the same time. It is less cropped than our Crewneck Jumper.

We recommend choosing your size according to our size guide. If you are between two sizes, opt for the smaller one! Our models Jennifer and Jassica wear a size 1 in Ecru and Leaf and a size 2 for a more oversized fit in Black.

Sustainable Trims

This garment mostly consists of organic wool, but we made sure to source sustainable trims as well: sewing thread made of cotton and labels made of organic cotton.

Plant Dyed

Plant-Dyed

The organic wool yarn is dyed using plant-based natural dyes in a family-run dye house in Vienna. This factory combines traditional craftsmanship with a strong interest in innovation and sustainability.

Locally Manufactured

This garment was knitted in Slovakia, close to the Austrian dye house. Our production team in Austria has been working with them for many years.

Using what nature has to offer - madder root, logwood, weld, indigo, cochineal, yellow wood, and redwood - this family-run dye house combines traditional craftsmanship with a strong interest in innovation and sustainability. They have dedicated years to developing recipes for plant dyes that are a lot less harmful to the environment than their conventional counterparts.
