Through our Women Who Inspire Us series we aim to highlight women who live their lives in a way that we find empowering. With each feature we introduce you to someone who has crossed our path - virtually or IRL - and left a lasting impression.
Jordann Wood is one of those women. A photographer with an intuitive eye, she captures moments, scenes, and beauty as they unfold - guided by feeling rather than perfection. Curious and spontaneous by nature, Jordann moves through life with an openness that’s grounded in presence, connection, and care. Whether it’s finding inspiration in fleeting street moments, unwinding through movement and laughter, or embracing the daily rituals of motherhood, her approach to slow living is rooted in gratitude and intention. For Jordann, slowness means tuning into the everyday, regulating the nervous system, and understanding the why behind how we live, consume, and create.
Having worked with Jordann from the very beginning - from e-commerce imagery to editorial shoots - her perspective has become an integral part of our visual language. Today, we’re excited to share our #WomenWhoInspireUs conversation with her.
Introducing - Jordann Wood

How do you describe what you do?
I capture moments, scenes, and beauty.
Name three words that describe you.
Intuitive, curious, spontaneous.
Share some moments that calm your mind and make you happy.
Music. Moving my body. My son. A good belly laugh.
What do you do to unwind and reconnect with yourself?
Hot shower every night. Hide my phone. Get on the ground and play with my son. Yoga. Glass of wine with my husband or friends. Laughter. Creating something that I've been wanting to. Silence.
What does slow living mean to you?
Being grateful and present in the daily. Understanding why I do what I do / buy what I buy / eat what I eat. Regulating my nervous system to stay calm and present.

Tell us about your morning routine!
I normally wake up with my son, Vincent, play a bit- then we make breakfast. 2 eggs, toast and a black coffee (for me) and then drop him to daycare. After this I head home and either get working or drop by my fave class at Original Feelings.
Where do you find your inspiration?
In daily, small moments mostly. A kind gesture, a wild thought, a moment I saw on the streets, a shower thought. Things that make me feel something.
Knowing what you know now, what would you tell your 18 year old self?
You will learn a lot in the next few years, some things will be beautiful and some things painful. You will make mistakes and you will chase your dreams. Go easy, flow, be gentle and don’t be so reckless. Ultimately you’ll meet the version of yourself you’re meant to become- Stable, confident, driven, funny, calm and wise.
Can you highlight a specific piece of clothing you've owned for a long time that holds a special place in your heart, and share the story behind it?
My dad gave me a 2000’s Masters hat and everytime I wear it I feel like ‘cool breeze’ which is what he always calls me. I also love my Corali Rose Earrings I wore for my wedding.
Your current or all time favorite song?
Girl From The North Country by Bob Dylan & Johnny Cash
